How Neymar Can Become World’s Best Player – Kaka Reveals

Former Real Madrid and AC Milan star, Kaka, has hilariously said there’s only one way that Barcelona superstar, Neymar can become World’s Best Player, and that is by replacing the ‘N’ in his name to ‘R’.as the best Brazilian players all begin with the letter ‘R’.
He reasons that the best Brazilians – such as Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Rivaldo – all had names starting with ‘R’ hence Neymar should follow suit.
Kaka told Record TV: “With everything that he’s done at Barcelona, Neymar could well be next in line to be the best player in the world.
“But I think if he changed his name to ‘Reymar’, he’d have an even better chance. All the successful Brazilians begin with the letter R.”
Neymar has been in terrific form this season for Barcelona and the forward put in an absolutely outstanding performance against Paris Saint-Germain in their 6-1 win midweek, confirming his status as one of the world’s best players.

William Gallas: Why Jose Mourinho Is Better Than Arsene Wenger

Former Arsenal and Chelsea defender William Gallas has revealed that ‘it was very good’ to play under Jose Mourinho than Arsene Wenger, claiming the Portuguese boss does more in training than Wenger’s laid back approach.
The Frenchman was one of the few players to have featured for both Arsenal and Chelsea during his playing days and has revealed that Jose Mourinho has more grip on his players during training sessions while Arsene Wenger chooses to remain laid back with his approach.
William Gallas told Soccer AM: ‘Managers want to win, they want to win trophies. But with Jose, he will show you every day at the training,
‘If you are not 100% he will stop the training and he will say to you “What’s wrong with you? Why won’t you train? If you don’t want to train, just go outside and just run. Because what I want, what I expect from you is to give me everything in the training and then you are ready for the game.”
‘And with Arsene it is a little bit different. You have that responsibility to manage yourself. He won’t be behind you all the time, so that makes a difference.
‘For me it was very good to be with one manager who was always behind me to push me in the right direction.’
Arsene Wenger has continued to coy on his future at the Emirates, with reports that the board has made a u-turn concerning his future, having offered him a two-year deal to remain at the club but have now told him to prove himself once more at North London before getting an extension.

‘I Don’t Know When I Will Leave Arsenal’- Wenger

Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has claimed he does not know how long he has left at the club.
He was speaking after the Gunners thrashed Lincoln City 5-0 on Saturday, to reach the semi-final of the FA Cup.
The result ensured the week ended on a positive note for Wenger, whose team were bundled out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich on a 10-2 aggregate.
Most observers have said the win over Lincoln has only bought Wenger more time, as his team continues to underperform.
Speaking to BT Sport after the victory at Emirates Stadium, Wenger said: “I think I have showed in my life that I have tried to serve this club with complete commitment and I will try to do that during the rest of my time here.
“How long [that is], I don’t know. I have shown a lot of loyalty and my preference has always been [to stay] here, but I have repeated that many times.”
When pressed on whether or not his stay depends on the attitude of supporters and the board, he said: “It’s not conditional, it’s just how I feel it’s how the situation is.
“I focus on my job. I always did that. I let other people judge my performances, I always did that. I am not too worried about all the rest. I just focus on trying to win the next game and getting this team to perform.”

‘Why PSG Lost 6-1 To Barcelona’- Manager Unai Emery Finally Reveals

Paris Saint-Germain Manager, Unai Emery admitted his team “lost everything” after referee decisions went against them as they threw away 4-0 first-leg lead over Barcelona in a 6-1 second-leg humiliation at the Camp Nou in the Champions League round of 16.
Barcelona were 2-0 up at half-time through a Luis Suarez strike and a Layvin Kurzawa own goal, and Lionel Messi added Barca’s third early in the second half from the penalty spot to boost moral of the home side.
Edinson Cavani pulled one back at 62 minute to keep the hope of advancing to the quarter finals alive for the French giants but a Neymar free kick and penalty minutes apart set the stage for Sergi Roberto’s miraculous 95th minute goal to complete the rally and sent the Catalans through to the next stage.
Emery said after the match, “When we analyse it, it is true that we have missed a major opportunity. The first half was our fault and we didn’t manage to press or do things with the ball. We defended very deep and they had more chances to score. We made mistakes for the two first-half goals.
“We were calmer in the second half and better positioned. We improved and had a chance for 3-2. The refereeing decisions went against us and we lost everything in the closing minutes. Barcelona are capable of doing that. It was all or nothing for them in the final minutes.
“It’s a negative experience for me and for the club. We need to learn from it.”

Manchester United And Manchester City Have Stronger Squads – Conte Says

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has insisted that Manchester United and Manchester City have the strongest squads in the Premier League, despite his side being 10 points clear at the top of the table.
The Blues welcome United in a much anticipated FA Cup quarter-final clash at Stamford Bridge on Monday and Conte is expecting a difficult game.
Jose Mourinho’s men have not lost in the league since they were thrashed 4-0 by Chelsea on October 23.
But Conte says the Red Devils and Pep Guardiola’s men are superior to his squad.
“I think Manchester United, with City, have the best squad in the league,” Conte told reporters on Friday.
“They have a lot, a number of great players with great talent and great experience to win.
“For sure, it can be a really tough game, for us and for them. I think that now, for us, it is better. We have a good identity, a good team. So we are showing good football.
“But, for sure, it will be a really tough game against United. We are facing a good team, very strong”, he said.

Oops! Rihanna Is One Of The Reasons Behind PSG’s Failure Against Barcelona? [Must Read]

Paris Saint Germain stars have been accused of partying into the early hours with pop superstar Rihanna just two days before their humiliating 6-1   defeat to Barcelona.
Blaise Matuidi and Marco Verratti are said to have been at a private nightclub in Paris on Monday night – less than 48 hours before their Champions League thrashing in Spain.
The pair were socialising with music icon Rihanna until the early hours of Tuesday, the day PSG flew out to Spain for their last-16 second leg against Barca.
But their partying has now come back to bite them following the side’s capitulation at the Nou Camp which saw them give away a 4-0 first-leg lead to lose 6-5 on aggregate.
Rihanna was in the French capital to star in a fashion show to launch her new range of clothing made by sportswear firm Puma.
She was joined at the show by a host of top models and actresses including Cara Delevingne and Salma Hayek as the Fenty range was showcased.
According to  L’Equipe, Italian international Verratti and French star Matuidi also turned up to the star-studded bash. *Rihanna And they stayed well after midnight, before linking up with their teammates on Tuesday to make the short flight across to Barcelona.
While late nights are not banned, they are frowned upon by clubs too close to matches – with most putting in place a 48-hour curfew.
Details about the pair’s night out have added further fuel to the anger in France at the way PSG caved in under pressure on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino  is on a list of managers interesting  Paris Saint-Germain  if they decide to replace  Unai Emery  at the end of the season.

‘No Reason For Me To Leave Atletico Madrid’- Griezmann

Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann, has said he sees no reason to leave the club, amid speculation linking him with a summer move to Manchester United.
United manager, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly made the France international his number one target ahead of his second season in charge.
But Griezmann insists he is not looking to leave the La Liga club.
“I always get the same questions about my future and it is getting a bit tiresome,” Griezmann told La1.
“Like I always say, I am very happy here at Atletico and in Madrid.
“The weather is great, my team-mates are some of the best you can have and I am working with a great coach.
“So I am feeling very well here. I see no reason why I would want to leave.”
Griezmann has a contract with Atletico until June 2021.

‘No Trophy Would Be A Failure’- Man City Boss Guardiola Says

Pep Guardiola said his first season as Manchester City boss will be considered a failure if he does not win a trophy.
Guardiola arrived last summer following success with Barcelona and Bayern Munich, but his current side trail Premier League leaders Chelsea by 10 points with 11 games remaining.
City are, however, still in the FA Cup and Champions League.
“If I have no silverware, I will not be here for a long time,” said the 46-year-old Catalan manager.
“No silverware – it will not be a good season,” Guardiola added. “I knew that in August. Being a manager depends on results.
“I know what my standard was in the past and I know what is on my shoulders. I have to handle that.
“But I know we will be judged on the titles we have won. My period in Munich was judged like a disaster because we were not able to win the Champions League. I won three leagues in a row, we won two cups from three, we arrived every time in the semi-finals and finals but it was a disaster.
“I have to handle that but what I can say is try to play better, better, better than the previous month. That’s what I want to see for the next year – be better.”
City travel to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday before heading to Monaco for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday. They then face top-four rivals Liverpool the following weekend.
Guardiola said: “It is an important week. We have done a good job in the past – especially in two competitions and we are doing quite well in the Premier League as well – but this week is so, so important. These three games will decide what’s going to happen in the next two months, definitely.”
Guardiola said captain Vincent Kompany is now back in training and the defender could be in contention to return at Middlesbrough.

Barcelona And Real Madrid To Play El Clasico In Miami (See Details)

Barcelona and Real Madrid will play the first Clasico on US soil on July 29, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The game will be part of the International Champions Cup.
The La Liga giants have only faced themselves once outside Spain in history – a match in 1982 in Venezuela, which Madrid won 1-0 thanks to a Vicente del Bosque goal.
Tickets will go on sale on the ICC’s website on March 20, three days after an exclusive presale.
El Clasico is the biggest match in club football with over 400 million viewers worldwide.
Barca and Madrid played out a 1-1 in La Liga on December 3 and the return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu is scheduled for April 23.
“When they come to play a game, there’s nothing friendly about it. It’s like a war. They don’t like to lose,” Stephen Ross, the ICC co-founder and Dolphins owner, said at a news conference announcing the event on Friday.
Real Madrid vice president Emilio Butragueno added: “We are fully aware of how passionate people are about futbol here in Miami.”

Premier League!! Bournemouth Fined £35,000 By FA For Anti-Doping Breach (Read)

Bournemouth have been fined £35,000 after admitting a breach of Football Association anti-doping rules.
The Premier League side were charged after failing to ensure their club whereabouts information was accurate on three occasions.
Clubs are required to provide accurate details of training sessions and player whereabouts so they are available for testing at all times.
The Cherries were also warned about their future conduct.
It is understood part of the charge concerned a player not informing the club of his new home address, while another part related to members of the Under-21 squad training with the first-team at short notice.
Manchester City were also fined £35,000 and given a warning after accepting a similar charge in February.

‘My Performance Against PSG Was My Best Ever’- Neymar

Brazilian ace, Neymar Jr. says his stunning performance in Barcelona’s 6-1 win against French Champions, Paris Saint-Germain was the best he has ever produced.
Sergi Roberto scored the winning goal in stoppage time, but Neymar was the driving force as the Catalan side scored three times in the final seven minutes of their Champions League round-of-16 second-leg tie en route to the competition’s biggest ever comeback.
Neymar scored twice and created another to knock PSG out of the Champions League 6-5 on aggregate.
Neymar said after the match, “It’s the best game I have played in my life.
“For the history, for the goals, for the level of the team. I’m in a good moment of form, a really good moment. I am really happy.”
Barcelona had been written off after their 4-0 loss in the first leg at the Parc des Princes.
Prior to the game, Manager Luis Enrique had backed his players to score six in his pre-game news conference on Tuesday, while striker Luis Suarez, speaking before him, was keen to press that the game would last for 95 minutes.
“We believed we could do it."
“We knew we could do it, that we could come back in any game. We believe in our players, in the team and we are capable of everything."

“I told Sergi to get in the area, that he would score a goal. When we conceded we dipped a little."
“We played with responsibility, with joy, with pressure and with the ball. The first week after Paris was tough, it did a lot of damage, but then we recovered our football and since the second week we’ve been desperately waiting for the game to arrive and to write history.”

Nike To Launch New Performance Hijab For Muslim Female Athletes (photo)

After launching its first plus-size sportswear range for women earlier this month, the retailer is getting ready to release the new Pro Hijab designed for Muslim female athletes.
Nike has taken another step into the lucrative Islamic clothing market by unveiling a hijab designed for female Muslim athletes.
After launching its first plus-size sportswear range for women earlier this month, the retailer is getting ready to release the new Pro Hijab designed for Muslim female athletes.
The product, which has been in development for a year, was tested by athletes including figure skater Zahra Lari.
“The Nike Pro Hijab may have been more than a year in the making, but its impetus can be traced much further back, to an ongoing cultural shift that has seen more women than ever embracing sport,” a statement from Nike read.

Global Nike Spokeswoman Megan Saalfeld told Al Arabiya English,
“The Nike Pro Hijab was designed as a direct result of our athletes telling us they needed this product to perform better, and we hope that it will help athletes around the world do just that.”
Megan also said the concept of launching an athletic hijab came after female Emirati Olympic weightlifting athlete Amna Al Haddad visited Nike’s sport research lab at their global headquarters in Oregon.
Amna complained that she only had one hijab that worked for her, and that she had to wash it by-hand each night in the sink during competitions.
The Nike Pro Hijab is set to release in spring 2018.

Will They Finally Work Together? What Arsene Wenger is Saying About John Terry Leaving Chelsea

The Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger has paid a glowing tribute to Chelsea captain and legend, John Terry - but insists Arsenal will not be signing the defender this summer as speculated by the media.

35-year old Chelsea legend, John Terry announced on Sunday that the club he has served for 21 years will surprisingly not be extending his contract when it expires at the end of the season, saying he will be leaving his childhood club during the summer.

The former England skipper insists he won't play for another club in England, with China or the U.S his probable destination, but that didn't stop the media from asking the Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger about a potential move for Terry at a press conference on transfer deadline day.

Wenger, who signed Chelsea stalwart, Petr Cech last year, was quick to deny such talk, but did praise the man who has so often got the better of him on the pitch.

'No [he won’t sign], because he is at the end of his career and he has spent his career at Chelsea,' Wenger said. 'If he wants to play longer, I am sure he will play for Chelsea.

'He was not only a great player, he certainly still is, but he was also a great coach on the pitch. I saw him here once at London Colney playing with the Under 21s and the way he coached the team as a player was absolutely marvellous.

'He was a real leader and he had a great career as well, let’s not forget that. That’s never a coincidence. The guys who last such a long time have something special.

'He was the symbol of cohesion inside Chelsea’s club because him, [Frank] Lampard, [Didier] Drogba and Cech were the players who carried the club’s values for long periods. When you lose players like that you’re always in danger.'

This is how Microsoft wants you to watch football in the future

Super Bowl 50 is right around the corner, and your gorgeous HDTV is ready and waiting (If not, check out our guide). But what if the big game could extend beyond your big screen? With a Microsoft HoloLens headset, which allows you to see computer-generated objects as if they appeared in the real world, you could theoretically watch every play unfold on your coffee table like a video game brought to life -- or extend your view of the stadium to the entire wall.
At least, that's the idea in this new video, produced by Microsoft in partnership with the NFL. It's what these two organizations believe might be possible...at some point in the future...if the HoloLens catches on.
Just to be crystal-clear, this isn't an actual HoloLens experience that you could try on an actual HoloLens headset. This demo is just a mockup, and doesn't actually exist. But the headset does, and it's remarkable to think: most of what we see in the video is probably possible with today's technology.
We've already seen a game of Minecraft played on a coffee table, thanks to the HoloLens headset's ability to scan for real-world objects and place computer generated ones on top. We've seen killer robots bust through walls, if not football players quite yet. All that remains is for the NFL and Microsoft to agree to actually produce such an experience for football fans, figure out how to collect and transmit that data...and for the HoloLens headset to cost substantially less than $3,000 each (roughly converting to £2,080 in the UK or AU$4,265 in Australia). Sorry, video-kid-with-the-Niners-flag, you're not getting one this Christmas.

Legendary Nigerian footballer, Kanu Nwankwo has been pictured with his former coach, Arsene Wenger as he attends the signing of two Nigerian players to the club.

Kanu Nwankwo with Arsene Wenger and the new club signees

Kanu Nwankwo met with his former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger in London during the signing of two new players, Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze, to the London club.

The two youngsters were part of the Nigerian team that won the Under-17 World Cup in November last year. They will be the first Nigerians, since Kanu, to sign with Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger to Sign Two Nigerian Players on monday

Two popular Nigerian players will possibly be unveiled by Arsenal Football Club of England, according to a hint given by the club's manager.

Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze

Arsène Wenger is confident that Arsenal will complete the signings of the Nigeria youth internationals Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze before the transfer deadline on Monday, according to The Guardian.

But the manager suggested he would make no senior additions to supplement the purchase of Mohamed Elneny as the club’s injury situation had improved significantly.

Wenger goes into Saturday’s FA Cup tie at home to Burnley with only Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere as long-term casualties. Francis Coquelin is back in contention weeks ahead of schedule after a knee problem and Tomas Rosicky also back from knee trouble.

Danny Welbeck has returned to full training, having been out since April of last year with a knee injury, but he will need a few more weeks before he is competitive again.

Wenger said that David Ospina would start in goal against Burnley and he is expected to give Elneny, who joined two weeks ago from Basel, his full debut.

Per Mertesacker is suspended after his red card in the home loss to Chelsea last Sunday.

It's Ridiculous! Jose Mourinho Rubbishes Claims he Wrote Six-page Letter to Manchester United

The special one Jose Mourinho has slammed media reports suggesting he wrote a six-page application letter asking to be made the manager of Manchester United.

Former Chelsea Manager, Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho's camp have firmly denied claims that the former Chelsea manager wrote a six-page letter to Manchester United stating his case to become the club's next manager.

The Independent on Sunday claimed that former Chelsea manager Mourinho has sent United the letter in which he outlines why he would be a suitable fit for the position, which is currently occupied by under-pressure Dutchman Louis van Gaal.

However Jorge Mendes, Mourinho's agent, strongly denied the existence of the letter.

“It doesn’t cross anyone’s mind that a manager such José Mourinho is writing letters to clubs, asking for a job,"said Mendes in a statement. "It’s ridiculous and absolutely nonsense.”

Mourinho left Chelsea in December after a poor start to the season, despite his team winning the Barclays Premier League in the previous campaign.

According to the report, Mourinho explains in the letter how he would be prepared to adapt his style of management to suit the demands at Old Trafford, and how he would seek to overhaul the squad.

The 52-year-old Portuguese's fondness for United is well known and he has been linked with the job before, but United chose David Moyes to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 and Van Gaal to come in a year later.

As well as two spells at Chelsea, Mourinho has previously bossed Porto, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. After he departed Chelsea before Christmas, Blues coach Steve Holland predicted Mourinho would want to soon be back involved in the game at the highest level.

"He's a guy who needs and wants football," said Holland. "There will be clubs and big clubs who will want him.

"And he's not in my opinion the sort of guy who's going to spend six, seven, eight months sitting at home doing nothing in particular."

Pressure mounted on Van Gaal after United's 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday, which left the Red Devils five points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham.

Injured Arsenal's Stars Resume Training Ahead of Chelsea Match

Arsenal FC coach, Arsene Wenger has been handed his anticipated boost following the return of top players from injuries to face North London rivals, Chelsea.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has hinted that Mesut Ozil will be available when the Gunners face premier league champions, Chelsea on Sunday but insisted Alexis Sanchez's availability is unsure for the game.

The former Barcelona and Udinese forward last featured for the current premier league leaders last November due to to a hamstring problem, while Ozil missed last week's 0-0 draw at Stoke City with a foot inflamation and illness.

Other returnees, who are expected back to the team are Francis Coquelin and Danny Welbeck after a long their suffering from knee injuries.

"Compared to last week at Stoke, we have no big problems. Ozil is available and with Sanchez the next two days will be decisive,"
 Wenger said.

"This time we feel he will make it to be available for selection.

"[Coquelin is] back training today ahead of schedule. Welbeck will be back in training next week and [Tomas] Rosicky will play tomorrow with the Under-21s."

Having injured his hamstring at Norwich City in November, Sanchez suffered a setback during training in mid-December and Wenger is eager to avoid taking any risks with the Chile international.

"The doubt is he has been out for a long time," he added.

"The tests are one thing, training is another and then the intensity of the game you can never repeat.

"I am cautious with him because we can't afford to have a setback as it would mean a long period out. We don't want to take this gamble. The signs in training are positive.

"We have done well in their absences and without big players, but it's a good opportunity to have everyone back in front of an important schedule as we want to do well in the FA Cup and the Champions League.

"It's good to have everyone back. Strikers give you goalscoring and I feel sometimes when you have 70 minutes gone and a strong bench it gives you a big chance."
