Sony (NYSE:SNE) has officially released confirmation that PlayStation Network has gone down all over the world.
PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita gamers are already aware of the reality of their online capabilities had being cut off down by the unfortunate outage.
The disturbing thing here is that company is not really certain when PlayStation Network will return, sending a bursting panic wave through the Sony gaming world. It is not clear at all what resulted in the gaming servers to shut down; although some hacking group had claimed responsibility.
“We’re aware that some users are having trouble accessing PSN,” tweeted @AskPlayStation. “Thanks for your patience as we investigate.”
The most terrible outage tool place in PlayStation history far back in 2011 when the server’s security was breached forcing the network to go out for 23 days.
