The black and orange Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition on sale at H.R Owen's showroom was one of just eight built.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition is a very rare version of one of the greatest ever road cars  it's on sale in London for a cool £1.8million.

It was driven to a staggering 253mph in April 2013 to take the title as the world's fastest convertible.

Just eight were built and high-end dealership H.R Owen has just taken a second-hand model into stock.

The model on sale in H.R Owen's Mayfair showroom is black and orange and has hardly been driven with its only previous owner covering just 1,130 miles.

Of the 450 Veyrons made, there were only 150 roadsters produced and of those, only eight were world record editions, making it one of the world's rarest hypercars.

The limited edition Grand Sport Vitesse is on sale for £1,795,000.

Anita Krizsan, Bugatti brand director for H.R. Owen and the world's most successful Veyron saleswoman, has the job of finding a buyer.

She said: "It was a pleasure to sell this car to its first owner the first time around, and we are delighted that our unique relationship with our clients means that we have the opportunity to help the car find its second owner.

"This is a fantastic example of an iconic car, which has been meticulously cared for in its life so far.

"It will make for a wonderful investment for collectors and enthusiasts alike."
